JUMA COM HUB and MacBook, KX2, PA1000

Greetings,

I would like to use a MacBook computer, running MacLoggerDX, to communicate with a KX2 (or KX3) and the PA1000 amplifier. The computer will provide frequency control.

Although it's feasible to connect the KX2 and the amp directly, the JUMA COM HUB looks to be the way to have the computer communicate with the radio AND the amp simultaneously.

Can I just set the Mac program for the radio KX2 (using menu set AUTOINF to ANT CTRL?) and connect appropriate cables with the Hub?

If anyone has tried this particular arrangement - feedback is most welcome.

Ryan,

We have not tested JUMA COM HUB with a MacBook. But it should work fine if you are able to connect MacBook directly to your KX3. All the the settings are the same as if connecting directly to the KX3 alone. You only need to set COM HUB for the same baud rate as MacBook/KX3.
