Where to get the TRX2 DC connectors?

Postby oz4hz » 28 Jan 2013 12:16

I would like to make a few DC cables with connector for the Juma TRX2A - I have tried to "google" the part number but with no result.

The connetor housing is JST LP-02-1V
and the crimp terminals
JST 0.5-2.0

any sugestions where to get them ?

I got my spare connectors from the Juma parts company. They are also available from the UK electronics parts shop Maplin, known as 'Kyosho Race Pack Connector' used for model radio controlled cars. The Maplin part number is: GZ98G, and in the UK it costs 2.29 UK pounds, or about 3 Euro. Try http://www.maplin.co.uk

I removed the origonal DC connector and installed the standard coax type size M pin type dc connector in the TRX2A Now I have many different power cords I can use with the TRX2 and the plugs are very easy to get.Just remove the origonal connector and modify the existing mounting hole so the coax plug will fit.
